A free bird

Good day, all. Has been a long time i was away, about 12,13 days i guess, but now i'm here, and I'm free like a bird, haha, free bird reminds me of one song by Nelly Furtado, I'm Like A Bird, though the lyrics does not represent what i feel right now, but the title of the song does, by the way it's a nice song, it always reminds me about me when i was a young child going through my dad's or my mom's (not sure) CD collection, I picked some CDs, and one of them is Nelly's album, i love all her songs, but this was my favorite, and i remembered i played it back over and over again when the song ended, haha, well, that's me. I thought about something, i'll share it with you guys, now and then, i start to think that when i'm blogging, i'm kinda like writing a diary, so, i'll make it official, THIS IS NOT A BLOG, THIS IS MY DIARY. Haha, well then, i'm gonna write whatever comes to mind starting from..now, yea, this second, as I know myself, i have a bad memory, i can't remember a lot of stuffs, but once in a while, i get flashbacks of me doing this and that. Alright! Let's move on.

Me Being a free bird, what's it feel like? It's feels great, one week of Hari Raya break, Exam's over, No Tuition, wau, come to think of it, I really am a free bird. Man, when the last paper of exam was done, I was so so happy, I was even more happier than the last day of PMR! Oh, what's PMR? Well, PMR is one of   the public examinations prepared by Malaysia's education system, and it is compulsory to be taken by all Malaysian Form 3 (15/16 year old's) students. And what about Hari Raya? Okay...Hari Raya, celebrated by Malays is the same thing as we Chinese celebrate Chinese New Year and Indians celebrate Deepavali, it's a clebration, a festival, and a family gathering, where every family member goes back to the Mommy's and Daddy's and bond with each other, aww...how loving is that, right? Yea, it's sweet. Haha, i've explained, let us continue...hmm, one week of holiday, huh, that means i still have 6 more days left, and goodbye freedom, how sad...

Yesterday was Sunday, and the day before that was Saturday, haha, of course it is, why am i even writing that? Well, as you all know, or if you don't know, there's a big book fest in town, yea, and i went on Saturday a.k.a the first day, haha, crazy right, going on the 1st day, but what to do, i actually wanted to go on Sunday, but my mom had some stuffs to do, so we had no choice but to go on Saturday, i'll tell ya more about the book fest soon, i took some pics, i'll post them on the next post, i think. What else did I do on the weekends? Saturday i spend my whole day in the book fest, and on Sunday I was at home...oh yea, car wash, I finally washed the car after like 4 weeks (equivalent to 1 month, haha, dirty car), with my mom of course, wau, had to wash two cars, and those cars were hard to wash, especially the wheels, whoo, that gave me a stomach cramp, well, not really stomach cramp, just the feeling of your stomach folded when you bent down for a long long time, cleaning one wheel made me wanna faint, think about 8 wheels, man, that made me wanna die right on the spot! Next time, i don't think i wanna let the car collect dirt for 28 days, 2 weeks the most, no more 4 weeks, i'll totally lose my life if i do that again.

And today, just now i watched a movie, Monte Carlo, on the laptop again...sigh, my dvd player is going crazy these days. Monte Carlo was okay, not very very good, but also not that bad. Just like any usual love story, the girl gets the guy, but only this time...
these three girls had their man, from left, that's Emma, then Meg, and Grace, acted by Katie Cassidy, Leighton Meester, and Selena Gomez. I love Leighton's acting in this movie, she played the older sister that's reluctant to go on a trip to Paris with her step baby sister, Grace, but after talking to her father, she did went, and found love in the City of Lights or the City of Love, either one, she fell in love with a guy from...forgotten where, which she thought he was from Aussie, cause of his accent. Anyways, it was nice watching her, nice movie, a rating of 3.8 out of 5, wanna know the full story, you either have to watch the movie or...read this, from Wikipedia, i kinda get everything from Wiki.

Oh yea, and my friend, Danny, lend me Supernatural Season 2, yea, i'm slow, but I'm catching up, watch it every holidays. For now, the scariest episode is episode 4, Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things, you can read the summary, or just watch that episode, i don't think i wanna talk about it here, it'll give me the creeps again. And I love episode 5, 'Simon Said', haha, when Dean got like 'possesed' for a while by a guy, he just blurted everything out, he told the guy why are they following him, what's their job, who is the guy sitting beside him (Sam), haha, i laughed all way through on that part, it was really funny, haha!

Well, that's about it, what I've done for these past few days, i had a fun time writing, see ya soon~! Happy Hour is still going...Yeah!!!

More Musica~~

Hi, guys, here's another post all on music.

The 1st one I wanna share is by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, their song 'Falling Slowly', listen to it while reading it's lyrics, it's a really beautiful song, this last line 'catch' me, it goes like 'Raise your hopeful voice, you had a choice, You made it now, falling slowly sing your melody, I'll sing along'...so sweet ^-^

This one would be quite known to most people, 'Lights Off' Jay Sean, it's okay to me.

Ahh..this m.v, if you watched American Idol Season 10, you'll know about Pia Toscano, the super talented singer that was booted out quite early of the competition, I thought/hoped/wished/prayed she would win before she got disqualified, it was a sad moment, i cried when she sang her last song on the Idol stage, she deserved to win. Well, forget about the past now, and take a listen to her new single, This Time, hear her powerful vocal chords, it's AMAZING! Just Magnifique!

Yea...enough of the bad news, here's some music i found past few days...
First, let's Party...!!!!

then, let's hear a ballad, ahh...Norah Jones always makes me sleep (in a good way)

Eminem, Bruno Mars, Royce Da 5'9", i kinda only like Bruno Mars' lines, and cut out all those swear words

Emm...this song, downloaded, i think it's nice, worth downloading into my player, oh yeah~!

this song too! haha, downloaded also.

I guess i love songs too much, that i'm gonna download this one too! Man, I guess i should stop here, or else i'll never stop sharing songs...

Just now, I watched this dvd that I wanted to watched a few weeks back, but it couldn't work on the dvd player, so sad, i was so eager to watch it, and today, i had a solution to play it, using the laptop! Yea, kinda weird, using the laptop to watch a dvd, oh well, i tried, and buyah! It WORKED!!!! I was so thrilled, and it was my 'Happy Hour', as Danny said, when his parents are not at home, superb, I love Happy Hour!
So, this movie, called, "Definitely, Maybe", is about a guy telling his little daughter all about how he met that lil girl's mommy. There were 3 women in his life till now, to tell his story, he changed all these 3 women's names, making it a love mystery for the daughter to figure out who's the women that daddy fell in love with and had a baby girl, that would be the daughter.
My review for this movie, i think is one of the best love comedy i watched, actually, to come to think of it, this is the best, i love the story plot, it's great.
The best line is from Maya, the daughter when she said, "You're right, it is complicated, isn't it? I mean, you're in love with April, who used to be in love with Lucas, and then she fell in love with you, but you were in love with Summer, who was always really in love with Hampton, and now that you're in love with April she's in love with Kevin... and no one's in love with you. That's complicated."...yeap, love is kinda complicated.

Majlis Perlantikan Blue Angelz

I suppose to post this post a long long time ago, okay, maybe not that LONG, just one month ago, hehe. Okay, majlis perlantikan, what is this majlis perlantikan, an event we librarians, or the prefects and the peer facilitators(PRS) have annually, to welcome our juniors to our pack of Blue Angelz and determine who are the committee members, the ahli jawatankuasa's for the year. This year was a little different, usually we'll do it in the morning, but this time it was in the afternoon; usually we'll have it during assembly, but this year we have it in a room. Full of librarians and some teachers, plus FOOD, that's what I love, and my type of MUSIC, which i love too, in conclusion, that day was fulling, full of food and music, haha!
Blur-ish...

junior opening his surat perlantikan,
some document to show that you are now truly a part of the Blues
at last, after the talking, it's eating time!!!
but there were so many people, have to line up, sad...
my partner, Raydon, tried to cut the queue,
at the end he succeeded, some junior boy let him in, sigh, juniors...
While eating, there was a slideshow showing all the pictures taken last year, i saw a few of my pics, got on stage, helping teacher, being the maid-of-honor, well i was a maid, taking the silver platter here and there, being a slave to the teachers, haha. The best part was during that slideshow, they played some incredibly great songs, by OneRepublic, Secondhand Serenade, etc, that made me enjoyed my food even more. Unfortunately, my friend, V, she dropped some of her food, and it landed on her white skirt, at least her blue long top was able to cover the stained area, phew~!
Now, all I hope is that we'll have this event in a room again, yeepee...if so, then food, here i come!!!! XD

...Butterfinger out.

Public Speaking 2011

A lot of things happen on 26th July 2011, my friend's birthday 26th July 1995 and my class trip, 26th July 2011, not only that, me, Cheryl, Danny and Johnny had public speaking competition on the same day after we came back from our trip. Fuh~...sounds kinda tiring, right, first trip then competition, but it wasn't that bad, i quite enjoyed that day. So, public speaking, never done it before, well...i did compete in storytelling competition and others similar to it during primary school days, and Cheryl said i went up on stage in front of the school when i was form 1, but I can't really remember, she also said everybody laughed when i said something, she said the way i was speaking made them laugh, haha~!
However, this is public speaking, big difference, and sadly nobody laugh, haha, my title was "How to build an Exceptional Self-Esteem", of course nobody laugh, but honestly, i was terrified, although there were just the judges and the contestants plus some students, i was shivering like a cat poured with cold water, and even though i had my script with me the whole time, my hand was shaking madly with it, man, i felt like babbling everything as fast as possible and end my turn. Believe this, i did end my turn fast, not even 5 minutes or so, i finished my talk, i know, so lame. What to do when you're dying to get away...
Contestants (from far right) Pinky, Esther and Siew
that's me, see, i'm holding the script, but sigh, shaked a lot.

Those in purple, contestants and the others, our juniors watching us
          Judges
A girl from 1st class, i thought she did swell, she wasn't bad at all.

Yee Yan, she got 3rd place

Danny, his second round, went out after taking his pic, don't wanna give him any jitters, even in the 1st round, haha, he asked me not to focus on him too much, he talked about the goods of playing games, i think he didn't do badly.
All the pics i took that day.
And can you believe this pic?!! What?!! I got a prize?!! Oh yeah, i did, i got second, and who got first you ask...hmm...who else can it be, Cheryl!!! She talked about living a healthy lifestyle, she did great, she deserved first place, she changed her title last minute, although she had a little...bit of flaws, she was excellent all the way. How about Johnny? Haha, he talked abt his best friend, i think it was interesting, but i told him before this, this is PUBLIC speaking, a title my best friend, is not something related to the public. Even if I didn't do well, i'm totally glad that the 1st and 2nd prize went to we Creativos! Yeahoo!!! The LUHURians (a.k.a first class) got 3rd place, hehe...I'm not quite sure about this, but maybe we'll be able to join a national public competition next year, haha, of course i'm even more scared, but i'm just so so hyped to enter that competition, in order to do that, i have to try and practice talking to the mirror everyday, i guess...to Dan and John, don't put your feelings down, to me, you guys did AWESOME!!! XD

All-Females Group Project #1

With 1 month of time, the month of July, All-Females Group (AFG) had a mission, what? A project. =.= What project? Civic. About what?! Well...painting the Malaysian Flag on a piece of cloth. You think, painting a flag needs a duration of 1 month? So long...Yea, it's long, as AFG only do this project everytime we had civic class in school, that's 2 times in a week, so in truth, we used 8 days only la, to finish. XD
from this....
 to this...on the 3rd or 4th day
 Zhi Tong(left), Wengyi(right) and Cheryl(center)
touch-up-ing before we end our session of painting.
That's Qin Ping(purple) colouring the red lines.
 Candid photo
Everybody painting painting, what am i doing?
Haha, i paint while taking pictures, i'm a multi-tasker, hehe...
5th day...wanna know how we dry this, as my class is on the top floor of my block, we hang this flag on the railing, that's kinda dangerous, it can fall to the bottom of the ground or even worse, take off and fly to anywhere in the world anytime, but thankfully, the cellophane tape that was stick on each side of the flag was sticky enough to withhold the flag, not letting it go, thank you cellophane tape!
the 8th day, a.k.a the last day
last touching ups by Sing Yee.
Hoorah, at the end, we accomplished our mission, but we regret one thing, we should've used oil paint rather than water color, oil will stay at the spot where we painted, as watercolor is WATER-color, the colors of our flag ran everywhere, so it didn't look very nice. Well, lesson learned, when painting on cloth, use oil paint, don't ever EVER use watercolor, you'll totally regret.

26th July 2011

Now, everybody should know 26th July was whose birthday, but this post will be mainly about what we did on that day. We went to Universiti Malaya to check out the Rocket Competition, or can i say something that got to do with rockets, not sure. Since only my class, The Creative Fours (4K) went, this can be considered as a class trip. Yeap, a class trip...thought it would be fun, but all we had was the sun...haha, rhyming. Thus, this post will be mostly pictures(again) of ma classmates! XD
Now, my class is kinda break into some group, this group below is what I call,
The Loud Group, they are full of fun, energy, and totally NOISY, that's them.
That's our class monitor on the far left of the pic, taking attendence.
In this picture, we focus on the fake gay dudes, Jien Hao(left) and Jie Jun(right)
And then, as Crystal(a.k.a our treasurer) calls this group, The Teachers' Kids Group,
although you have to exclude Ridzu, which is in the middle of the twins, and only count Devraj, Azzam(left) and Azzem(right).
Here we have the 3 ladies, which are also part of the Loud Group, but just a little bit more quiet,
oh wait, I almost forgot, these 3 can also be called the Korea Fans, they sarang sarang(love) Korea very much, especially the music industry, i know Sook Cheng(in blue) loves BEA$T a lot!
before we go to the next pic, the one on the left is Rebekah, the right is Rebecca, haha the Rebekcahs!
This is the Study Group, more hardworking group,
we have 2 study groups, one is the males, the other the females.
This, of course, the males.
Ping Ping(left, sorry i always call him that, it's not his real name.)
and Johnny(right)
These guys here, are also part of the Loud Group, but just like Sook Cheng and the Rebekcahs,
they are more quiet. Maybe I should change them, okay, I call these quiet ones,
 Moderate Loudness, yeap, nice, XD.
 Here's Yanie(left) and Firah(right),
oh, we're missing Esther J, sigh, she didn't come that day, sad...
Cheryl, member of the Study Group, female ones, including me!
and my Physics Teacher, Pn. Rozitah.
 WengYi! My group too.
Photography session, not for our class, but for some 1 Malaysia thing.
Raydon looks so smart, fuyoh! Far left, guys, the guy in blue.
 The bus, air-conditioned, whoo, and it's F.O.C!!!
We have reached UM, free Milo, as breakfast, wish it was hot...
Haha, whole class went to the toilet all together, serious! haha.

The rockets

Some important people, don't remember who are they though...
Me and Cheryl's public speaking paper
(we had public speaking competition after that, what a hectic day it was)
Kar Hou, Assistant Monitor
After the speech from the VIP, we watched the rocket launching presentation,
There's another video, a longer one,
but there's a little problem between Youtube and me, i think,
I've failed to upload it so many times, i'll try it again...
After we seen the show, finish everything,
we go back to the bus stop and wait...for our bus.
Haha, Wai Loon with the camera,
one day maybe he'll be a photographer, who knows!
Fabian BOO BOO...
At last, for quite some time, the bus arrived.

The Loud Group, I had another picture,
but i think accidentally delete that one....sigh
Everybody all tired but all smiles =)
Well, that's the end of our kinda...boring trip, haha, but I love the pictures, I love my class, Creative Four, they're the best, I love you guys! All we need is our class T-shirt, hehe. Hopefully next year we'll be all in the same class again, Creativos~!
